Hot Springs Glamping; All About The Water!

If you are seeking adventure, breathtaking sunsets, and desert vibes you are in the right place!

Hot Springs Glamp Camp in Southern New Mexico is a magical oasis, where you'll love to set up camp. We're talking glamping at its finest – imagine soaking in healing hot springs, floating in the Rio Grande River, and soaking in the beautiful scent of the desert rain!

In this blog is all about the water of New Mexico and we've got the ultimate guide to make your glamping trip mystical.

Healing Mineral Hot Springs

Alright, picture this: You are soaking in a private cowboy tub, filled to perfection with naturally occurring mineral hot springs water, in the heart of the beautiful desert. These hot springs aren't just hot; they've got some magical healing powers too! Not only able to melt away years of stress and bring you into pure relaxation, but also greatly benefit your body and mind. These waters work wonders. It's like a spa day in nature's backyard – and trust us, you'll feel like a brand new person after soaking in these glorious hot springs.

Humans have traveled from near and far, for hundreds of years to be healed by the naturally occurring mineral waters. These Hot Springs are known as “Sweet Springs” because they have no sulfur (or smell). Our Hot Springs are pristine, continually flowing waters, with trace elements of 38 different minerals, including minerals such as magnesium, lithium, and silica. These thermal springs are some of the most heavily mineralized waters in the United States.

Hot Springs Temperatures:

107°-111° varying day to day

Fresh and Clean

These waters contain chloride; a naturally occurring germ killer that sterilizes water and ensures purity. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized by staff daily and in between each use to guarantee a fresh soak for every soul.

Unlimited Soaking

Here at Hot Springs Glamp Camp, our guests have 24/7 access to 3 outdoor, fresh-air tubs, and 1 indoor jetted jacuzzi tub, reserved for guests only. Fill and drain for each use, on a first come first serve basis. We highly recommend an early am soak with your favorite mug or late night dip under the stars.

Rio Grande River

If summer temperatures don’t inspire you to soak in the mineral-rich hot springs of New Mexico, we have an alternative water adventure for your stay!

Across the southwestern united states, the Rio Grande River runs 1,896 miles, making it the 4th longest river in the U.S. This river flows from the Rocky Mountains to the Gulf of Mexico and right through Truth Or Consequences, just a couple blocks away from Glamp Camp!

These cool desert waters can be just the summer experience you are seeking while you glamp. Grab a paddle, hop on a kayak, or ride a float – the choice is yours.

The river's got some seriously refreshing vibes, and you'll be cruising under blue skies. Fun for one, safe enough for the whole family.

There are even rentals setup right on the riverside offering whatever you need to get on the water and have a great time.

Nothing Compares to the Desert Rain

In the southwest desert, our rainy season starts in June and continues throughout September with August typically being the wettest month.

If you haven't experienced rain in the desert, let us elaborate on what makes this a truly special experience.

Here in the Southwest, we have the creosote bush, this bush contributes to an aroma to remember. The scent can be described as earthy and sweet. Feel welcome to invoke your senses, step outside and witness the beauty of rainfall while you are visiting. If you are lucky enough to that is, even during the rainy season the rain doesn’t come often or for long.
